Rockets' matchup vs. Golden Eagles will mark first all-time meeting between programs
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team will host Southern Miss in the second matchup of this season's MAC-SBC Challenge. The game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2:00 p.m. in Savage Arena.
The matchups between 13 Mid-American Conference and 13 Sun Belt Conference women's programs were determined by real-time NET rankings after this past weekend's games.
Toledo is 4-1 all-time in the MAC-SBC Challenge, which began in the 2023-24 season. The Rockets fell to Troy in this season's November matchup.
The two teams will face each other for the first time in program history. Currently, Toledo is 6-6 (1-1 MAC), while Southern Miss is 10-5 (3-1 SBC).
