TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's basketball team (10-9, 4-3 MAC) returns home to host Bowling Green (13-6, 4-3 MAC) on Saturday, Jan. 24 in the Battle of I-75 sponsored by the Fremont Federal Credit Union. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. in Savage Arena with streaming on ESPN+. The Rockets and Falcons are tied for fifth in the MAC standings, trailing Miami (20-0, 8-0), Akron (15-4, 6-1), Kent State (14-5, 5-2), and Ohio (11-9, 5-3).
The Rockets' game vs. the Minutemen was tight from start to finish, with neither team leading by more than two possessions for long stretches. UMass held a narrow 35–34 halftime lead.
Toledo is led by the backcourt trio of Wilson (17.4 ppg), Blyden (15.9 ppg), and Kyler Vanderjagt (11.2 ppg) along with the frontcourt tandem of Sean Craig (12.8 ppg) and Parks (11.3 ppg). Blyden leads all MAC freshmen with 15.9 ppg.
Bowling Green has posted wins over EMU (85-79) and at WMU (72-54) since dropping back-to-back contests at Kent State (96-93) and vs. Akron (77-67).
Javonte Campbell tops the MAC in league play with 22.9 ppg and ranks first nationally with 3.4 spg. Mayar Wol (13.0 ppg), Sam Towns (12.9 ppg) and Josiah Shackelford (11.4 ppg) are also scoring in double digits with Towns grabbing a team-high 6.5 rpg.

Leroy Blyden Jr. scored a game-high 22 points and Toledo shot 54.9% from the field in the Rockets' 84-82 defeat at UMass on Tuesday night. The Rockets just missed coming away with a big road win over the Minutemen in a tight contest that featured 10 ties and seven lead changes.
Blyden delivered another standout shooting performance, knocking down 7-of-10 shots and finishing a perfect 6-of-6 at the free-throw line.
