Home events during Homecoming week begin on Thursday with women's volleyball at Savage Arena and conclude with football's contest against Akron on Saturday afternoon

MEN'S GOLF
Monday, Sept. 22 – Tuesday, Sept. 23 / Badger Fall Invitational / Madison, Wis. / Live Scoring

Toledo will compete in its third tournament this fall when it travels to Madison, Wis. to compete in Wisconsin's Badger Fall Invitational. The 14-team field includes two Big Ten programs (Minnesota, Wisconsin) as well as one other Mid-American Conference foe (Northern Illinois). Junior Solomon Petrie is leading the Rockets with a 71.3 stroke average after tying for eighth place in the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate on Sept. 13-14.

MEN'S TENNIS
Monday, Sept. 22 – Friday, Sept. 26 / ITF World Tour M15 / Ann Arbor, Mich.

Men's tennis will be represented by Hanamichi Carvajal, Poonthong Komolpisut and Matias Olivero in the ITF World Tour M15 in Ann Arbor, Mich. Qualifying play begins on Monday afternoon with singles main draw commencing on Wednesday. Rocket great Pawit Sornlaksup is also participating in the event, earning the No. 6 seed in the singles main draw.

Volleyball kicks off MAC play hosting Kent State and Ohio this week at Savage Arena. The Rockets grabbed three wins at the Purdue Fort Wayne Invitational last weekend, concluding the non-conference slate with a final record of 9-3. The 9-3 record ties the best non-conference record since 2004. Olivia Heitkamp leads the Rockets offense, averaging 2.61 kills per set while Kelsey Smith is firing off 9.21 assists per set.

WOMEN'S SOCCER

Soccer is on the road in the Mitten State this weekend, taking on Central Michigan in Mt. Pleasant and Western Michigan in Kalamazoo. The Rockets (3-2-3, 0-1-1 MAC – 1 PT) tied Northern Illinois 1-1 before falling to Eastern Michigan 1-0 at home over the past week to open up MAC play. Gabrielle Anulare scored the Rockets' tally against NIU in the 12th minute, her first goal of the season.

SOFTBALL

Softball hosts Michigan and Michigan State at Scott Park this weekend as the team continues its fall season. The Rockets welcome seven newcomers to the Glass City for the 2025-26 season and brought in Staci Chambers as the pitching coach. Admission to all events at Scott Park is free.  

WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING
Saturday, Sept. 27 / Blue vs. Gold Alumni Meet / UT Student Recreation Center / 8:00 a.m.

Women's swimming and diving will host its annual Blue vs. Gold meet on Saturday morning at the UT Student Recreation Center. The team will compete against each other and program alumni in various events.

FOOTBALL

Football hosts the 2025 Homecoming game against Akron at 3:30 p.m. at the Glass Bowl. Streaming will be on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network. The day will feature many festivities, including the annual Homecoming parade at 10:00 a.m.
