Toledo will host the Inverness Intercollegiate this week with three Top 25 teams
– No. 13 Florida, No. 15 Ohio State, and No. 25 TCU
– among the 12-team field competing at the Inverness Club. The 54-hole tournament will be played on Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 15-16. A 9:30 a.m. shotgun start will open the tournament on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. tee time start scheduled for Tuesday. The event is open to the public with free parking.

Toledo is at home twice this week to begin MAC play, facing Northern Illinois at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and Eastern Michigan at 1:00 p.m. at Paul Hotmer Field. Thursday's matchup is "Team Toledo Day" and Sunday will be "Bark in the Park" where you can enjoy the match with your four-legged friend! Toledo comes in on a five-match unbeaten streak after a 1-1 draw with IU Indy on Sunday. All matches at Paul Hotmer Field are free.

Friday, Sept. 19 – Sunday, Sept. 21 / Everybody vs. Cancer Invitational / Toledo, Ohio
Men's tennis begins the 2025 fall slate hosting the Everybody vs. Cancer Invitational at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. The Rockets will welcome UChicago, Case Western, Holy Cross, Tiffin, Wayne State and Youngstown State to campus. Play will kick off at 10:00 a.m. Friday and will consist of a round robin bracket for singles and a single elimination bracket for doubles. The team returns seven letterwinners from the 2024-25 season and brings in two newcomers.

Women's tennis kicks off the fall portion of the 2025-26 season at the Block E Invitational hosted by Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, Mich. The Rockets will face Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Oakland and Youngstown State. Play begins at 9:00 a.m. both days and will consist of three singles and three doubles matches. The squad brings back six letterwinners from last season and welcomes three freshmen into the fold.

Women's rowing makes its debut as a varsity sport in the Glass City Regatta on Saturday, Sept. 20 on the Maumee River. Action will begin with the women's open novice 8 race at 9:30 a.m. followed by the women's open 8 race at 10:45 a.m. The 2025-26 roster includes experience rowers and student-athletes who are brand new to the sport.

Football begins MAC play on Saturday with a trip to Western Michigan. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network. The Rockets (2-1) are coming off a 60-0 drubbing of Morgan State at the Glass Bowl, where the defense allowed just 56 yards of total offense. The offense put up a program-record 43 points in the second quarter. Western Michigan (0-3) fell to No. 9 Illinois, 38-0 in Week 3.
