Toledo tabbed for Presidents Special Recognition for fourth-straight year
TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's golf team has received Presidents Special Recognition for posting an impressive 3.74 grade-point average as part of the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic honors announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. It is the fourth-consecutive year that UT has been honored.
The Rockets registered a 3.760 GPA in the fall semester and a 3.705 GPA in the spring semester. Toledo is one of 75 programs to receive special recognition out of the nearly 300 schools that sponsor NCAA Division I men's golf.
Jamie Butler, Marijn Hoogeveen, Mads Jensen and CJ van Wyk were named 2024-25 GCAAÂ All-America Scholars last week for their accomplishments academically and athletically.Â
