Jamie Butler and Marijn Hoogeveen lead way with 3.9 GPAs or higher

TOLEDO, Ohio – Four student-athletes on the Toledo men's golf team have been named to the 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.

Junior Mads Jensen earned a spot on the team for the second time in his collegiate career, while senior Jamie Butler, senior CJ van Wyk, and sophomore Marijn Hoogeveen were each named to the list for the first time.

To qualify, each student-athlete must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and participate in 70% or more of the team's rounds or compete in the conference championship.

The Academic All-District selections helped Toledo to a team GPA of 3.705 in the spring, the sixth-straight semester the Rockets have posted a 3.700 team GPA or higher under Head Coach Jeff Roope.
