Nine Rockets earn 3.50 GPA or higher, led by Eliza Maloney and Grace O’Malley with 4.0 GPAs
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Twelve student-athletes from the 2025 Toledo softball team were named to the Academic All-MAC squad, the league office announced on Wednesday. Eliza Maloney and Grace O'Malley led the Rockets with perfect 4.0 GPAs.
Senior second baseman Sidney Griffith earned her third Academic All-MAC honor of her career while Maris Barbato, Sophia Knight, O'Malley and Kendra VanderLugt brought home their second honor of their careers. Jenna Bloomfield, Eli Enriquez, Kylee Graham, Eliza Maloney, Madison McKay, Reis Sjoholm and Mady Yackee are first-time honorees.
Enriquez, Griffith, Maloney, McKay and VanderLugt also earned College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors on Tuesday.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled athletically and academically. To qualify, the student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
