Both Rockets named to all-district team for first time in career
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's tennis student-athletes Jone Ibanez and Gaby Rondon were named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Both Ibanez and Rondon are first-time honorees to the Academic All-District Team.
Ibanez carries a 3.58 GPA as a bioengineering major, while Rondon owns a 3.60 GPA as a pre-business major.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
