Toledo earns at least seven Academic All-MAC selections for fourth-straight season
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Seven student-athletes from the Toledo women's basketball team have been named to the Academic All-MAC Team, tied for the most selections among the league's 12 members, as announced by the league office on Thursday.

Toledo's honorees are graduate students Nan Garcia, Khera Goss, Sammi Mikonowicz and Hannah Noveroske, senior Jessica Cook and sophomores Cadence Dykstra and Ella Weaver.

Garcia, Goss and Mikonowicz each earned their fourth selections to the Academic All-MAC Team, Cook and Noveroske their third and Dysktra and Weaver each received their first.
Â
Dykstra, Garcia, Mikonowicz and Weaver were also named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team on March 25.

Toledo has earned at least seven honorees to the Academic All-MAC squad each of the last four seasons. The Academic All-MAC selections helped the program to a 3.820 team GPA last semester, marking the first time in program history that women's basketball has led the department in team GPA.

To qualify, student-athletes must hold a cumulative 3.2 GPA, play in at least 50% of contests and be at a sophomore or higher academic standing.
