Toledo plays last of three straight games vs. Horizon League
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team will play the back end of back-to-back road games on Tuesday, when the Rockets visit Youngstown State at Beeghly Center. Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network.
The Rockets (1-3) will finish a stretch of three straight games against Horizon League opponents. Toledo is 1-1 so far, defeating Detroit Mercy, 66-52 before falling at Northern Kentucky on Wednesday, 70-61. The Penguins (4-1) have won two games in a row, most recently winning at Mercyhurst, 64-50 on Thursday.
Toledo leads the all-time series, 10-9 and the Penguins are 5-4 all-time at home. The two sides will meet for the first time since the 2013 WNIT, 61-43 Rocket victory.
Youngstown State was picked third in the Horizon League preseason poll. Toledo was picked second in the Mid-American Conference preseason poll.
