TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's basketball student-athletes
Cadence Dykstra,
Nan Garcia,
Sammi Mikonowicz and
Ella Weaver have each been named CSC Academic All-District, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.

Garcia and Mikonowicz each earned their third-straight selections to the Academic All-District Team. Dykstra and Weaver each claimed their first.

In addition to her selection, Mikonowicz advanced to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced on April 16.

To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, compete in at least 90% or start in least 66% of games, and be at a sophomore-or-higher academic standing.

Garcia is pursuing her MBA, Mikonowicz is majoring in general studies with a concentration in economics and Dykstra and Weaver are each majoring in business.

The four selected student-athletes each helped Toledo to a department-leading 3.820 team GPA during the fall 2024 semester.

On the court, Toledo finished the 2024-25 season with a 24-9 record, reaching the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament for the second-straight season. Garcia was named the MAC Sixth Player of the Year, while Mikonowicz was a Second-Team All-MAC and MAC All-Tournament Team selection.
