Senior finishes at career-best one-under par

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. – Senior Jamie Butler led the Toledo men's golf team on Tuesday by tying for 11th place at the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate. The Rockets finished in ninth place at 16-over par and just six strokes out of fifth place in the tournament held at the Mid Pines Club in Southern Pines, N.C.

Butler finished with a career-low one-under par 215 after leading the field with 41 pars.

Senior CJ van Wyk tied for 21^st place at two-over par and was the Rockets' next best finisher. Van Wyk and freshman Julius Lange topped Toledo with 12 birdies.

Butler was joined at even-par in today's final round by senior CJ van Wyk, freshman Julius Lange, and junior Mads Jensen.

Chattanooga captured the team title at 25-under par.
