Leah Evans grabs third Top 10 finish at meet

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Sophomore Leah Evans recorded an eighth-place finish in the 200 butterfly on Saturday night as the Toledo women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2025 Mid-American Conference Championship in Buffalo, N.Y.

Evans recorded a final time of 2:04.57 in the 200 butterfly. Senior Lindsey Creek competed in the 1650 freestyle, taking 12^th with a time of 17:18.84. Junior Janne Slegers saw action in the 100 freestyle and took 14^th with a time of 50.78.

The 400 freestyle relay team comprised of Rosie Richards, Evans, Kenzie Myco and Slegers took sixth place with a final time of 3:23.57.

The Rockets placed eighth in the team standings, recording 175.5 total points.
