Evans takes sixth in the 100 backstroke and seventh in the 100 butterfly

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Sophomore Leah Evans earned sixth- and seventh-place finishes in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly for Toledo at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Women's Swimming & Diving in Championships Buffalo, N.Y. Championships on Friday.

Evans took sixth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 54.14 while also taking seventh in the 100 butterfly with a final mark of 54.10.

The Toledo 200 freestyle relay team of Janne Slegers, Audrey Zimmerman, Lucie Morris and Evans recorded a time of 1:34.11 to grab an eighth-place finish.

UP NEXT
Toledo will wrap up competition in the MAC Championships on Saturday with preliminaries at 10:00 a.m. and finals starting at 6:00 p.m.
