GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Toledo softball team fell to UNC Greensboro, 16-14, in nine innings on Sunday afternoon in the final game of the Spiro Classic in Greensboro, N.C.
Toledo scored a season-high 14 runs on 18 hits. The 18 hits rank third all-time in a game in program history. The Rockets scored runs in seven of the nine innings played, including a five-run second inning that put UT ahead by a 7-5 margin.Â

Samantha Bolding collected her second home run of the season.
Griffith's two-run home put Toledo in front, 13-11, in the eighth inning. Toledo also took a 14-13 lead in the ninth on senior
Maris Barbato's run-scoring single up the middle.
