Toledo to Open Three-Game Road Stretch at Oakland on Saturday

Rockets and Golden Grizzlies to tip off at 3:00 p.m. on ESPN+
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's basketball (5-3) begins a three-game road stretch when it travels to Rochester, Mich. to face Oakland (4-5, 1-0 Horizon) on Saturday, Dec. 6. Tip-off time from the OU Credit Union O'Rena is set for 3:00 p.m. with streaming on ESPN+.
The Rockets opened the month of December with Monday's wire-to-wire 102-58 home victory over Central State. Toledo shot 51.3% from the field and limited the Marauders to a 39.7% shooting mark.
Austin Parks tallied a career-high 27 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Parks shot 10-of-11 from the field and now ranks second in the MAC with a 69.2 FG%. London Praytor also notched a double-double off the bench, finishing with a season-high 12 points and 12 boards. Also scoring in double digits for UT was Will James Jr. (season-high 12 pts. & 6 asst.), Leroy Blyden Jr. (11 pts., 6 asst.) and Sonny Wilson (11 pts.).
The Rockets are led by the backcourt duo of Wilson (15.5 ppg) and Blyden (14.0 ppg) along with the frontcourt tandem of Sean Craig (13.5 ppg) and Parks (12.6). Craig leads UT with 7.8 rpg, with Blyden setting the pace with 5.5 apg and 2.5 spg.
