Toledo Announces 2025-26 Indoor Track and Field Schedule

Rockets to compete in eight meets throughout indoor season
TOLEDO, Ohio – Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Andrea Grove-McDonough announced the Toledo women's indoor track and field schedule today. The schedule includes eight meets that lead up to the 2025 Mid-American Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Mount Pleasant, Mich. on Feb .27-28. The outdoor track and field schedule wil lbe announced at a later date.
Grove-McDonough is in her eighth season as head coach and returns with assistant coach Devin Quinn, who is in his second season on staff. Associate head coach Louis Vazquez and assistant coach Ronnie Brandal are both coaching their first track and field season for the Rockets.
Toledo will start the indoor season this Friday, Dec. 5, at the Grand Valley State Holiday Open in Allendale, Mich. The Rockets will then start the month of January competing in the Wolverine Invitational, hosted by Michigan in Ann Arbor (Jan. 10). Later in the month, Toledo will travel to South Bend, Ind. for two meets hosted by Notre Dame (Jan. 24, Jan. 30-31).
In February, the Rockets will compete in two more meets hosted by Michigan (Feb. 6-7, Feb. 20). They will also split the team for two simultaneous meets on Feb. 13-14, heading to the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale, Mich. and the Heartland Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind.

The MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships are set for Feb. 27-28 in Mount Pleasant, Mich. The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will follow on March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
