TOLEDO, Ohio – In its final game before conference play, the Toledo women's basketball team heads to the Pacific to face Long Beach State on Monday, Dec. 22. Tipoff is at 3:00 p.m. ET/Noon PT from the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, Calif.
The Rockets (4-5) defeated Wayne State, 75-63 at home on Wednesday. Kendall Carruthers led the Rockets with 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. The Rockets are 1-3 on the road this season.
The Beach (0-10) fell to No. 4 UCLA, 106-44 on Saturday.
The two sides will match up for the second straight season. Toledo defeated LBSU, 79-72 at Savage Arena on Nov. 22, 2024. Carruthers scored 19 points in that contest, while Cadence Dykstra tallied seven assists.
