Toledo Announces 2026 Dual Schedule

Rockets set to play 23 contests with 10 matches at home
TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo men's tennis head coach Al Wermer announced the Rockets' 2026 spring schedule on Wednesday. The schedule features 23 matches, including 10 home competitions and 10 conference contests.
Toledo will open the 2026 campaign with a pair of Big Ten opponents in Purdue (Jan. 16) and Ohio State (Jan. 18). The team will host Tiffin and Findlay in a home opener doubleheader at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23.
UT will visit DePaul (Jan. 25), IU Indy (Jan. 31), Butler (Feb. 1) and Indiana (Feb. 1) before hosting Youngstown State (Feb. 13), Wayne State (Feb. 13) and Fordham (Feb. 22). The Rockets will wrap up non-conference play on Feb. 26 at Chattanooga.
Mid-American Conference play will begin at home with Ball State (March 6) and Western Michigan (March 8). Toledo will then play five-straight matches on the road at Buffalo (March 14), UIC (March 19), Northern Illinois (March 21), Ball State (March 26) and Western Michigan (March 28). League contests will conclude with three home matches against UIC (April 2), Northern Illinois (April 4) and Buffalo (April 11).
The top four teams in the conference will compete in MAC Championships in Buffalo, N.Y. on April 18-19.
The Rockets return seven letterwinners from the 2024-25 season and welcome in three newcomers, including two transfers and one freshman.
