Opening Tips
- The Rockets have won their last five matchups in a row against the Titans and are 9-1 in the series since 2007.
- Toledo (0-2) battled hard in their home opener against Gonzaga this past weekend, but came up just short, falling 72-69. Sophomore forward Evalyse Cole had a strong performance in the loss, tying her career-high 12 points and shooting 3-for-6 from beyond the arc.
- Cole has scored 12 points in each of her first two starts, becoming the first Rocket since Jessica Cook in 2021 to have double-digit scoring outings in each of their first two starts.
- Toledo's leading scorer through two games is junior guard Kendall Carruthers, averaging 13.0 points per game. Carruthers, a First Team Preseason All-MAC selection, now has 22 double-digit scoring games in a Rocket uniform, with at least 15 points in 12 of those contests.
- Sophomore guard Faith Fedd-Robinson has also had a strong start to the season, scoring 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting in her first start of the season against Gonzaga last Sunday.
- Miriam Diala, a sophomore forward/center transfer from George Washington, had her second double-digit performance of her career last Sunday against Gonzaga, scoring 14 points.

- The Rockets last played a Horizon League foe on Nov. 17, 2024, rallying from down 10 at halftime for a 76-73 victory over Northern Kentucky at Savage Arena. Nan Garcia's putback layup with 2.8 seconds left stood as the winning bucket.
- Despite the loss to Gonzaga, Toledo is 56-7 at home since the 2021-22 season.
Toledo, who has ranked in the top 40 nationally in attendance for the past 40 seasons, drew 4,127 fans for the home opener, its largest home opener crowd in three seasons.
