TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team will host Saginaw Valley for an exhibition matchup on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Savage Arena. Tipoff will be at 7:00 p.m.

Fans can see the Rockets in action for the first time ahead of the 2025-26 season. Admission is free for the game, which will be Toledo's final tune-up ahead of the 2025-26 season opener on Monday.

Toledo vs. Saginaw Valley
Toledo will begin regular season play on the road at Troy on Monday, Nov. 3. The MAC-SBC Challenge game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. CT and will air on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network.

- Toledo was picked second of 13 teams in the Mid-American Conference preseason poll, behind only Kent State among the league's coaches. The Rockets received two first-place votes and three votes to win March's MAC Tournament championship.
- Kendall Carruthers was named First Team Preseason All-MAC. The junior guard averaged 11.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 0.8 steals last season.
- Toledo finished with a 24-9 record last season, placing second in the MAC standings and reaching the MAC Tournament title game. Toledo was selected to the WBIT for the second straight year.
- Head Coach Ginny Boggess enters her second season at Toledo and fifth as a collegiate head coach. She holds a career record of 78-51.
- Toledo received 44 votes in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 released on Monday. Toledo's first two opponents – Troy (21) and Gonzaga (7) were ranked in the poll.
- Including Wednesday's exhibition, Toledo is scheduled for 16 contests at Savage Arena this season.
