Two Toledo Games in January to be Nationally Televised on CBS Sports Network

Rockets' home game vs. Miami on Jan. 9 and road game at Kent State on Jan. 16 selected; more TV matchups possible
TOLEDO, Ohio – Two Toledo men's basketball games for the upcoming 2025-26 season have been moved from Saturday to Friday in order to be televised nationally, the Mid-American Conference office announced today. Â
Toledo's home game against Miami will now be played on Friday, Jan. 9 at 6:00 p.m. in Savage Arena. In addition, the Rockets' contest at Kent State will be moved to Friday, Jan. 16 and tip off at 6:30 p.m. Both games will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.
Additional national television contests for the Rockets may be added at a later date and would be announced via 21-day wild-card selections.
Toledo's game at Michigan State on Tuesday, Dec. 16 will also be streamed on Peacock with a 6:30 p.m. tipoff.
The Rockets have played six or more games on national television in each of the last five seasons.
