MEN'S GOLF
Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 13-14 / Purdue Fall Invitational / West Lafayette, Ind. / Live Scoring

The Rockets are in West Lafayette, Ind. to compete in the Purdue Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. The 15-team field includes two Power Four programs (Nebraska, Purdue) as well as four Mid-American Conference members (Ball State, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo). Senior Bence Kotel is leading the Rockets with a 71.64 stroke average with sophomore Julius Lange (72.14) and junior Solomon Petrie (72.55) within a stroke.

WOMEN'S GOLF

Toledo is participating in Dayton's Flyer Invitational in Kettering, Ohio on Monday and Tuesday. Akron, Ohio and Western Michigan are also competing in the 10-team field. UT will be competing against Detroit Mercy, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne and Indiana State. Sophomore Brooklyn Millard is leading the team with a 76.50 stroke average after capturing her first title as a collegiate with a three-stroke victory at last week's Rocket Classic.

Women's soccer hits the road to begin the week at Ball State on Thursday before returning to Paul Hotmer Field on Sunday for the Rockets' first all-time meeting against UMass. Sunday's matchup begins at 1:00 and it will be 90's Day at Paul Hotmer Field! Toledo earned a 1-1 draw against Ohio on Sunday, with Ella Zoerhoff scoring her first career goal in the 81st minute to tie the match. Agnes Stenlund recorded seven saves.

MEN'S TENNIS

Men's tennis continues fall action with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regionals in Chicago, Ill. Six Rockets will be competing in the singles qualifying round beginning on Thursday. In the singles main draw, Hanamichi Carvajal and Poonthong Komolpisut will see action starting on Friday. Toledo will also have four doubles teams competing in the tournament.

The men's and women's cross country teams return to action on Friday, splitting squads between the Princeton Fall Classic in Princeton, N.J. and the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis. The women will compete against 21 programs that are ranked or receiving votes in the USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll. At the Loyola Lakefront Invitational on Oct. 3, Joad Martinho earned a fifth-place individual finish as the team recorded a seventh-place finish ahead of No. 24 Washington. On the women's side, Melody Jebiwot took 18th as an individual while the team placed ninth overall, placing ahead of No. 7 Providence and No. 21 Wisconsin. Jebiwot earned MAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for her performance at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational.

Volleyball continues league play, heading to DeKalb, Ill. for a pair of matches against Northern Illinois on Friday, Oct. 17-Saturday, Oct. 18. The Rockets earned a 3-1 victory over Bowling Green last week, the first over the Falcons at Savage Arena since 2015. Toledo then lost a pair of matches to first-place Ball State in Muncie, Ind. over the weekend. Sophomore Olivia Heitkamp is leading the offense with 2.86 kills/set while sophomore Grace Freiberger is second in the MAC in digs, averaging 4.28 digs/set.

FOOTBALL

Football continues Mid-American Conference play against Kent State on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The game will be streamed against on ESPN+ and the Rocket Radio Network (WSPD 1370AM). The Rockets and Golden Flashes will face off for the first time since 2022, when Toledo posted a 52-31 victory at the Glass Bowl. Tickets are available for Saturday's matchup.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Sunday, Oct. 19 / at Findlay (Exhibition) / Findlay, Ohio / 3:00 p.m.

Toledo hits the road for an exhibition contest on Sunday at the University of Findlay. The Rockets and Oilers will tip off at 3:00 p.m. at the Croy Physical Education Center. Junior Sonny Wilson is UT's leading returning scorer with 15.3 ppg. Findlay posted a 24-5 overall record and a 17-3 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference last year.
