Toledo earns fourth shutout of season
YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Toledo women's soccer team was able to pick up a point at Eastern Michigan following a 0-0 draw at Scicluna Field on Thursday.

Toledo (3-5-2, 0-2-1) put the pressure on with seven shots in both halves and three second-half corners en route to to its tie on the road with the Eagles (4-4-2, 0-1-2).

Graduate student Dalaney Ranallo, senior Chloe Tadolini and freshman Cameron Cole each took three shots for the Rockets, with Ranallo and Cole both putting a shot on goal. Junior Agnes Stenlund made five saves to earn her fourth shutout in seven games.

"I'm really proud of the last 20 minutes of the first half and the whole second half," said Head Coach Mark Batman. "We were very good and dangerous on the attack and moved the ball very well. Any time you can get a point on the road in the MAC, it feels like a win. Now we move our efforts to Sunday, and try to get a win and get back in this thing."

 Toledo finishes its week at home on Sunday, Sept. 29 against Akron. First kick at Paul Hotmer Field is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on ESPN+.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- 13' | Eastern Michigan got two early shots on goal, but both were saved by Agnes Stenlund.
- 42' | A Carys Bourbeau shot from the right side of the box went just over the crossbar.
- 80' | Eastern Michigan put a low shot on goal after a corner kick, leading to a save.
- 86' | Cameron Cole took two shots in succession, but the first shot was blocked and the second missed just to the right.
- 89' | The Eagles had the final opportunity, but a shot from outside the top of the box went narrowly high.
- Toledo earned its fourth shutout of the season and first in MAC play.
- The Rockets earned their second-straight clean sheet against EMUÂ and are undefeated in their last four contests against the Eagles (2-0-2).
- The Rockets took 14 shots, their third-most in a game this season.
- Eastern Michigan led 5-4 overall in corners, but Toledo held the 3-2 edge in the second half.
