Tate joins Toledo staff after playing career at Tiffin, Wright State
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball program announced the addition of Jada Tate to the program as a graduate assistant on Friday.

Tate will assist the staff in many of the program's day-to-day operations, recruiting, workouts and player development.

"Jada's blend of championship experience, work ethic, basketball IQ and creativity made her a perfect fit to be our graduate assistant," said Head Coach Ginny Boggess. "We are excited for her addition to Toledo women's basketball!"

A native of Pickerington, Ohio, Tate played her final collegiate season at Wright State, averaging nearly 16 minutes in 32 games played and shooting 47.2 percent from the field. Prior to Wright State, Tate played in 112 games in four seasons at Tiffin University. She totaled 991 points, 765 rebounds, 131 assists, 73 steals and 60 blocks with the Dragons.

Tate graduated in 2023 from Tiffin with a bachelor's degree in sports management. She also enjoyed a successful high school playing career at Pickerington Central High School, including an OHSAA Division I state championship as a junior. Her brother, Jae'Sean is currently a forward for the Houston Rockets and played at Ohio State from 2014-2018.
