TOLEDO, Ohio – Head Coach Ginny Boggess announced her first recruiting class as the leader of the Toledo women's basketball program on Friday with the additions of Kendall Carruthers, Evalyse Cole and Faith Fedd-Robinson for the 2024-25 season.

Carruthers, who played at Springfield High School in Holland, Ohio, is returning to Northwest Ohio after spending last season at St. Francis (Pa.), while Cole and Fedd-Robinson will enter as freshmen.

Kendall Carruthers | 5-7 | Guard | Holland, Ohio | Springfield | St. Francis (Pa.)

"Kendall is an absolute home run for us," Boggess said. "Her resume speaks for itself from her first collegiate season, but she is also an ideal combo guard in our system. A willing and able scorer who flourishes in space, she gets most excited when getting her teammates involved. She has a fierce, competitive energy and plays with a contagious love for the game. It's with a happy heart I welcome Kendall and her family home to Team Toledo!"

Carruthers spent her freshman season at St. Francis, where she started all 32 games for the Red Flash. She averaged 14.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals in her freshman campaign. Carruthers' 14.3 ppg ranked fourth in the Northeast Conference (NEC). She produced a pair of 30-point outings -- 32 at Wagner (Feb. 15) and 30 vs. LIU (Jan. 19) -- as well as 20 double-digit scoring efforts.

Carruthers' impressive rookie campaign earned her NEC Rookie of the Year honors as well as a first-team all-league selection and an all-rookie team pick. She was named NEC Rookie of the Week five times and was a six-time NEC Prime Performer.

Carruthers was named Third Team All-Ohio for Springfield and was a two-time First Team All-League and First Team All-District selection. She was selected to play in both the Ohio North vs. South All-Star Game and the Ohio vs. Indiana All-Star game.

Evalyse Cole | 6-2 | Power Forward | Easton, Pa. | Easton

"Evalyse is such an exciting player and has grown immeasurably since I started watching her three years ago," Boggess said. "I couldn't be more excited to add her and her family to Team Toledo as she is the perfect fit at the forward position in our system. She has a very high IQ, incredible vision and the ability to knock down the deep three. A rim protector and relentless rebounder, Evalyse will immediately impact the game on both ends of the court."

Cole was a 1,000-point scorer in high school where she won numerous awards in her senior season. Her senior accolades included being named the MVP of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC) along with a first-team selection, and also being named the Lehigh Valley Live Player of the Year and Third Team All-State. She also took Lehigh Valley Live Player of the Week and EPC Star of the Week among other weekly honors.

A native of Easton, Pa., Cole lettered all four years in basketball and also lettered twice in both volleyball and track & field. Her father played basketball at Lafayette College and her mother played volleyball at Rider University.

Faith Fedd-Robinson | 5-11 | Wing | Newark, N.J. | Newark Central

"Faith is a smooth three-level scorer with elite playmaking skills," Boggess said. "Her size and physicality allow her to play multiple positions and exploit mismatches. She will no doubt thrive in our up-tempo system, and will excel in the open court where she can create for herself and her teammates. We can't wait to share Faith and her family with Team Toledo!"

Fedd-Robinson lettered all four years at Central High School, taking all-state distinctions including a NJAthletics.com Third Team All-State pick, Second Team All-Group honors, and was a three-time All-SEC (Super Essex Conference) selection. She has also been given consideration for Player of the Year in the state.

She led the state in blocks and put up over 1,400 points, 1,000 rebounds and 400 blocks in her high school career. She produced several memorable individual-game performances while at Newark Central, including multiple triple-doubles and a 47-point outburst this season.
