GROVE CITY, Ohio – Toledo posted the low number of the day in Monday's second round with a 17-over par 305 to close the gap behind first-place Kent State to just two strokes at the Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships. The Rockets, who entered the day nine strokes behind the Golden Flashes, are at 34-over par through 36 holes at the par-72, 6,201-yard Pinnacle Golf Club.

"We managed the golf course and ourselves well again today, staying in the present and playing one hole at a time," Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "We had our share of adversity today, and the team responded with grace and patience allowing them to bounce back. We are looking forward to teeing it up again tomorrow and leaning into our process again."

Fifth-year senior Amelia Lee is leading Toledo and tied for second place at four-over par 148. She played her first eight holes at two-under par and is three strokes behind KSU's Leon Takagi (71-74).

Juniors Yedam Lee (75-78) and Kyleigh Dull (78-76) are also in the Top 10 for the Rockets. Lee is tied for eighth place at seven-over par 153, while Dull is tied for 10th place at eight-over par 154.

Senior Angel Hii is tied for 14th place at 11-over 155 (78-77), while senior Macy Hanus is tied for 19th at 15-over par 159 (78-81).

Toledo is looking to capture its first MAC Championship in program history. The Golden Flashes have won every league title since the first tournament was held in 1999.

The Rockets' tee times in tomorrow's final round will begin at 9:50 a.m. with streaming on ESPN+ beginning at noon.
