Brelivet transfers to the program from Oklahoma State
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Andrea Grove-McDonough announced the signing of transfer Loann Brelivet to the men's cross country team for the 2024 season on Monday.
Brelivet joins the Rockets after transferring from from Oklahoma State University, where he ran the 2023 season as a redshirt freshman. He is a native of Quimper, France and will enroll as a management major at UT.
Brelivet said he was impressed by what the University of Toledo had to offer and said he was looking forward to training with Associate Head Coach Tito Medrano, who oversees the men's cross country program.
"I chose the University of Toledo because it was the best option athletically and academically," Brelivet said. "I like the way Tito trains his athletes, his goals of winning the conference and the closeness he has with his student-athletes. His enthusiasm appealed to me and showed he wanted me to join the team. I like the environment, the campus and the variety of locations to train, and find management to be an interesting academic major."
