Cheerleading Tryouts for 2024-25 Academic Year to be Held

Interested individuals can attend on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20

TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo Cheerleading program is holding tryouts this month for the 2024-25 academic year.

Tryouts will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 19-20 in the Fetterman Gym inside Savage Arena. Skills that will be judged during the tryouts will be chant, standing tumbling, running tumbling, fight song, and partner stunting skills.

An open gym will be held prior to the tryouts on Tuesday, April 16 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) for individuals to practice. A second open gym where material will be taught will take place on Thursday, April 18 (6:30-9:00 p.m.).

Individuals who are trying out for the first time will need to provide the following:

Letter of acceptance to UToledo (please include Rocket ID number)
Letter of recommendation from a current or former coach, teacher, or school administrator
Photocopy (front and back) of current health insurance card)
