TOLEDO, Ohio - Fresh off a triumph over its arch-rival, the Toledo women's basketball team heads to Central Michigan on Wednesday (7:00 p.m./ESPN+) looking for its fifth consecutive victory overall.
Toledo (16-4, 9-1 MAC) has been dominant on the road in Mid-American Conference games, sporting a 21-3 record away from Savage Arena in league contests over the past three seasons.Â
The Rockets enter Wednesday's contest in second place in the MAC standings, one game behind Ball State (20-2, 10-0 MAC). Central Michigan (5-14, 3-7 MAC) had won two straight contests until being forced to forfeit its game at Kent State on Saturday due to a lack of healthy players.
Toledo leads the all-time series with CMU, 55-36, and has won the last four meetings.
Last Time Out
The Rockets are coming off an 82-70 victory over Bowling Green in the Battle of I-75 before 6,077 fans at Savage Arena on Saturday, the third-largest crowd in a regular-season women's basketball game in school history. The Rockets led wire-to-wire in their victory vs. the Falcons, the first time they've done that to an opponent since the MAC Tournament Championship Game last year vs. BGSU.Â

Jessica Cooke are shooting 66.1% and 51.2% from the floor, respectively, in MAC play. Noveroske has made 39-of-59 shots and Cook has made 22-of-43.Â

Courtney Risinger holds the single-season school record for three-point field goal percentage with a 45.0% mark in the 2001-02 season. She has been even better from three-point range in MAC play, shooting 57.5% (23-for-40) from beyond the arc.
