Rockets earn the eighth USTFCCCA academic team honor in history
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's cross country team was tabbed a 2023 Division I Cross Country All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Toledo posted a 3.492 cumulative GPA through the 2023 fall season to earn the program's eighth academic team honor. The Rockets were also honored for their academic performance in the 2013, '14, '15, '16, '17, 20, and '21 seasons.
In order to qualify, a team must have a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale including the most recent grading period.
Seven Rockets earned Academic All-MAC honors last fall led by 4.0 GPAs from senior Cooper Losey (3.808), senior Jake Rethman (3.984), and freshman Peter McMahon.
