TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo (14-8, 8-2 MAC) makes the short trip to Ypsilanti, Mich. on Tuesday, Feb. 6 to face Eastern Michigan (9-13, 2-8) in the George Gervin Game Above Center. The contest will be streamed on ESPN+ and tip off at 7:00 p.m.

The Rockets are looking to bounce back from last Friday's 77-70 loss at first-place Akron (17-5, 9-1). UT enters its matchup vs. the Eagles one game behind the Zips and tied for second place with Central Michigan (13-9, 8-2) in the league standings.

Ra'Heim Moss paced a balanced Rocket attack with 16 points. Dante Maddox Jr. and Javan Simmons each scored 14 points, while Tyler Cochran and Sonny Wilson contributed 11 points apiece. Cochran also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds and just missed registering his fourth double-double in his last five games.

Toledo trailed 47-36 at halftime but rallied to within three points, 60-57, on Simmons' three-point play with 6:46 remaining. The Rockets then cut Akron's margin to 75-70 with 30 seconds left but couldn't complete their comeback.

Eastern Michigan has lost seven of its last eight games. The Eagles' two conference victories came at home vs. Kent State (71-69) and Buffalo (75-65). EMU is averaging a league-low 66.3 ppg and 5.36 three-point field goals per contest.
