TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's basketball senior guard Quinesha Lockett has been named this week's Mid-American Conference Player of the Week, the league announced today.

Lockett had a dominant performance to help Toledo defeat arch-rival Bowling Green 88-68 in Saturday's edition of the Battle of I-75 at Bowling Green. Lockett led the UT offense with a season-high 26 points and added seven rebounds, a career-tying seven assists, and three steals. She scored 19 of her 26 points in the second half, connected on 9-of-19 from the field, 7-of-8 from the free throw line, and did not commit a single turnover.

This is the first time Lockett has earned the weekly conference honor this season and the fifth time in her career. She last earned the recognition on Jan. 30, 2023.

Lockett's 2,262 career points ranks her second all-time at UT and ninth among active Division I players in career scoring.

Toledo is home for its next two games against Miami this Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 6:00 p.m. and against Ball State on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2:00 p.m. Saturday's contest is the annual "Rockets for the Cure" game with all proceeds to help benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio and Elanor N. Dana Cancer Center.
