Emily Vining leads Rockets with 4.0 GPA

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Toledo women's cross country team had six student-athletes named to the Academic All-MAC team for the 2024 season, the league office announced on Thursday. Senior Emily Vining led the Rockets, tallying a 4.00 grade point average.

Vining earned Academic All-MAC honors for the third time in her career. Seniors Alex Bauer and Lou Trois and junior Morgan Hicks earned their second nods to the Academic All-MAC team while senior Laura Nicholson received the honor for the first time in her career.

To qualify, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher academic standing, have maintained a 3.20 GPA or higher and competed in 50% of contests during the 2024 season.
