TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team will play an exhibition game on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2:00 p.m. against Findlay in Savage Arena. Admission is free for all fans.

Free parking will be available in lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 18 from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Fans can get their first look at the Rockets, a squad which features six seniors and graduate student returners including
Jessica Cook,
Nan Garcia,
Khera Goss,
Sammi Mikonowicz,
Hannah Noveroske and
Emmi Rinat. Garcia, Goss and Mikonowicz return from last year's starting five and Mikonowicz was named Second-Team Preseason All-MAC earlier this week. Rocket fans will also get to see a team which features seven newcomers – six freshmen and a transfer.

The Rockets are coming off their 12th regular-season MAC championship and third straight overall in 2023-24, finishing with a 28-6 record and 17-1 conference mark. The Rockets advanced to the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT) quarterfinals.

Following the exhibition, the Rockets will begin their 2024-25 season against defending Sun Belt Conference champion Marshall on Monday, Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m. in Savage Arena. With its matchups with the Thundering Herd, Iowa on Nov. 13 and Maryland on Dec. 1, Toledo will play three teams which made the NCAA Tournament last season during this year's non-conference slate. The Rockets are also set to play twice on national television, first against the Hawkeyes on Big Ten Network and second at Ball State on Jan. 20 on CBS Sports Network.
