TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo softball team achieved academic excellence during the 2022-23 school year, earning a team 3.732 GPA that ranks sixth among all NCAA Division I teams recognized by the National
Fastpitch Coaches Association, the
NFCA announced on Tuesday.
The NFCA recognizes the academic accomplishment of teams and individuals across the association's membership categories. This is Toledo's highest academic ranking, following the 2021 squad which posted a 3.708 GPA and ranked No. 8.
Additionally, 17 Rockets were named NFCA Scholar-Athletes for their academic accomplishments this past year.

Leah Tipple all earned Scholar-Athlete recognition for the third-straight season.
