TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo men's tennis senior Luis Kleinschnitz and junior Pawit Sornlaksup earned a spot on the Academic All-MAC team, the league announced on Thursday.

This is the first Academic All-MAC honor for both Rockets.

The 2023 MAC Player of the Year, Sornlaksup earned MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honors twice this season, and was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team.

Toledo earned a program-best 3.679 GPA for the 2023 spring semester, with one President's List recipient, six Dean's List honorees, and two who made Honor Roll .

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete not in their first year on the team must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
