Danielle Page Named Co-Head Coach for U20 Serbian National Team

Page will coach team at U20 FIBA European Championships this summer
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's basketball assistant coach Danielle Page has been named co-head coach for the Serbian National Team. Page will help coach the U20 squad at the FIBA European Championships this summer in Lithuania.
The 2023 FIBA U20 European Championships will run from July 29-Aug. 6.
This will be the second straight year Page will coach the U20 Serbian National Team at the European Championships. She was an assistant coach last summer for the team during its tournament run in Hungary, helping lead the team to an eighth-place finish and retain its status in Division A.
"Danielle not only brings a lot to our team from a basketball standpoint, but she is a great person as well," said head coach Marina Maljkovic. "She brings a lot of energy to the team and there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to bring her back to work with our country's most talented young players. We had a good result last summer in Hungary, and I'm expecting even more this summer."
Page also has a rich history as a player for the Serbian National Team, winning a bronze medal as a player at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She has also helped Serbia win a gold medal at EuroBasket 2015 in Budapest.
