TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's swimming & diving team will send four Rockets to compete at Miami's Last Chance Meet on Friday-Saturday, Feb. 10-11 at the Nixon Aquatic Center in Oxford, Ohio.
Friday's events begin at 3:00 p.m., and Saturday will have a morning session at 9:00 a.m. followed by an evening session at 4:00 p.m. Participants will have one last chance to improve their times in their respective events before the seeding of the Mid-American Conference meet in two weeks.
Last Time Out
Toledo dropped its final dual meet at Miami on Jan. 28, 169-74. Jovana Duric and Lauren Kilgore were responsible for the three event wins for the Rockets against the RedHawks. Duric captured first-place finishes in the 1650 and 500 freestyle events, while Kilgore won the 100 butterfly and also took second in the 100 breaststroke.
Duric was named MAC Women's Swimmer of the Week on Feb. 1, the first of her career, following her performance vs. Miami. She has won nine individual events this season, the most by any Rocket. Both Kilgore and Janne Slegers have each won five individual events this year, while Kennedy Lovell has touched first on four occasions.

Miami sent out its seniors with a 220-58 win over Xavier on Feb. 4, taking first in both relay events, on both diving boards, and in all individual swimming events. The RedHawks will have one more co-ed meet, the Last Chance Meet, this Friday and Saturday.
Miami is scheduled to host this year's 2023 MAC Women's Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 22-25.
