Lucie Morris Leads Rockets in Opening Day of Last Chance Invite

OXFORD, Ohio – Lucie Morris led the way for a group of four Rockets at Miami's Last Chance Meet on Friday afternoon at the Nixon Aquatic Center. Morris finished runner-up in the 50 freestyle with a PR time of 24.53.

Molly Pressler represented the Midnight Blue and Gold in the 500 freestyle and finishing with a time of 5:30.70 for a 10-place finish. Lauren Kilgore swam the 200IM and was just shy of the top-3 finishers, coming in fourth with a time of 2:06.19.

Morris, along with Sydney Conrad and Pressler swam the 50 freestyle. Conrad finished 13th (25.33) and Pressler came in 27th with a time of 26.55 in her first attempt of the season in the event.

Toledo will have one more day in the pool, starting Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. followed by an afternoon session scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
