Jovana Duric Named MAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week

Senior picks up her first weekly conference honor of season

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo senior Jovana Duric was named this week's Mid-American Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.

Duric won the first individual event of the afternoon vs. Miami last Friday, touching first in the 1650 freestyle with her best time this season, 17:01.32. She also went on to capture first place in the 500 free with a time of 5:07.83.

This is Duric's first conference honor of the season and of her career.

The Toledo women's swimming & diving team (3-4, 1-3 MAC) will be back in the pool for the 2023 MAC Championships on Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 22-25 in Oxford, Ohio.
