Rockets Teaming Up with Student Government for Food Drive

Fans can donate food to Rocket Fuel Student Food Pantry at ticket office and three athletic events next week
TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo Athletic Department is partnering with the UToledo student government on a food drive to benefit the Rocket Fuel student food pantry on campus.
As part of "Rockets 4 Cans" effort, individuals will have the opportunity to donate any non-perishable food items at the Rockets' swimming meet vs. Bowling Green on Saturday, Nov. 4, men's basketball game vs. Detroit Mercy on Monday, Nov. 6 and football game vs. Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Individuals can also place items in a bin in front of the Rocket Ticket Office from Monday, Nov. 6 - Friday, Nov. 10.Â
The Rocket Fuel Student Pantry works to provide temporary food aid for enrolled UToledo students who are in need. The pantries are located in the Student Union on Main Campus and the Health Education Building on the Health Science Campus.

Men's Basketball – vs. Detroit Mercy on Monday, Nov. 6 (7:00 p.m.)
