Luke Pawlak Named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week

Junior placekicker made both field goal attempts, was 5-for-5 on PATs at UMass

TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior placekicker Luke Pawlak was named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday after his terrific performance at UMass on Saturday.

Pawlak had a perfect day in Toledo's 41-24 win at UMass, making both of his field-goal attempts and going 5-5 on extra points. He had field goals of 38 and 36 yards, and also kicked off eight times with three touchbacks.

Pawlak is third in the MAC in field goal percentage this season (83.3%) and is 28-for-28 on PATs.

Toledo visits Ball State this Saturday, Oct. 14 for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff in Muncie.
