Vilde Henriksen led a group of seven Rockets to an eighth-place finish at Texas A&M's Arturo Barrios Invitational on Friday morning. In a pool of 41 teams, the Rockets trailed just one nationally ranked team and another among teams receiving votes. For the second straight meet, Henriksen finished first for UT, finishing 10
th overall, and shredding nearly 40 seconds off her previous time for a PR of 19.57.4.
Six of the seven Rockets that ran on Friday recorded personal best times, including the top five scorers. Following Henriksen were senior

Morgan Hicks (20:33.6), sophomore
Lianna Surtz (20:46.1), and sophomore
Jaydon Cirincione (21:02.9), all among the top 100 racers. Sophomore
Karina James (21:27.6) and sophomore
Bailey Ranta (21:49.6) rounded out the Toledo squad.
No. 24 ranked Utah Valley won the women's 6K with 97 team points. Toledo captured 233 team points, 22 points ahead of regional opponents Eastern Michigan (ninth), and 203 points ahead of 16
th-place Indiana.
Up next, Toledo will compete for its third-straight Mid-American Conference title on Saturday, Oct. 28 in Bowling Green, Ohio.
