Women’s Swimming & Diving Team Earns 3.674 Grade Point Average for Fall Semester

Rockets' GPA is the fourth-best in program history with 10 student-athletes earning a perfect 4.0 GPA

TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's swimming & diving team earned a 3.674 team grade-point average for the 2022 fall semester, it was announced on Friday.

The Rockets' 3.674 is the fourth-best in program history, with 23 student-athletes earning a 3.6 grade-point average or higher. Ten student-athletes that made President's List with a perfect 4.0 GPA: seniors Caroline Wallenborg, Sydney Jackson, Ashley LeFever and Kennedy Lovell; juniors Ryli Harden, Nejla Karic and Morgan Schuld; sophomores Lindsey Creek, Caitlin Heinze and Molly Pressler; and freshman Janne Slegers.

As a department, the Rockets earned a 3.401 GPA which is the highest semester GPA ever recorded by the program using a normal grading scale. It is the fifth consecutive semester in which Toledo student-athletes have set a new GPA record and the eighth consecutive semester in which they have earned a semester GPA of 3.3 or higher.

Other highlights from the 2022 fall semester include:

A record 74 student-athletes (18.8%) earned President's List honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA, including 11 from the women's swimming & diving team.
201 student-athletes (51.1%) earned a spot on the Dean's List garnering at least a 3.50 GPA or higher, including 12 from the women's swimming & diving team.
302 students out of 393 (76.8%) total student-athletes made the Honor Roll by securing a 3.00 GPA or higher, including six from the women's swimming & diving team.
