TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo quarterback Dequan Finn was recently named to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list.

The preseason Watch List, semifinalists, finalists, and award recipient are selected by the distinguished Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Selection Committee, a group of prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, and former players.

Finn was also named to the Maxwell Award watch list earlier this offseason and was invited to participate at the Manning Passing Academy. As a redshirt freshman last season, Finn took over the starting quarterback duties at mid-season and threw for 2,067 yards and 18 touchdowns with just two interceptions. He also ran for 505 yards and nine TDs.

The 2022 award winner will be presented the Golden Arm Award trophy by The Johnny Unitas Educational Foundation President, John Unitas, Jr., at the Golden Arm Award banquet and celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland on Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
