TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo will send five individuals to Bloomington, Ind. on Wednesday-Saturday, May 25-28 to compete in the NCAA East Regional Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The women's competition begins Thursday with three Rockets competing - sophomore
Lou Trois in the 1500m and both junior
Faith Linga and senior
Stephanie Sherman in the 10,000m. On Saturday, senior
Semra Karaslan and sophomore
Emily Vining will run the 3000m steeplechase, while Sherman will close out the meet in the 5000m. Quarterfinals of the 1500m will also run Saturday.
In each East Regional individual event, the top-12 finishers will join the top-12 finishers of the West Regional for a field of 24 at the national championships. The 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships will take pace Wednesday-Saturday, June 8-11 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
