TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team defeated Northern Illinois for the second time this season, 6-1, on Friday at Shadow Valley Tennis Club. The win improved the Rockets' record to 13-6 overall with a 6-1 mark in MAC play.

UT won five of the six singles courts, beginning with Galic who swept the No. 5 court in two sets (6-1, 6-0). Sornlaksup did not let up on the No. 1 court, winning in two sets to improve his winning streak to 17 straight matches to remain undefeated against conference opponents. Toledo will play its last home match this season when it hosts Western Michigan on Sunday at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and can be streamed live on ESN3 or watched locally on BCSN. The senior recognition will take place prior to the start of the match.
