ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Toledo sophomore
Promise Cross took first in the high jump to lead the Rockets at the University of Michigan's Silverston Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Friday Feb. 18. Cross also competed in the 60m hurdles where she finished third.
Toledo also had some strong distance performances at the meet. Senior
Semra Karaslan captured third in a challenging field in the 800m with a time of 2:11.58. Sophomore
Amanda Tremains also took third place in the 3000m, checking in at 10:24.92.

Toledo's men's cross-country team competed in the mile and 3000m. In the 3000m the Rockets finished 1-2. Sophomores Ben Otis secured first with a time of 8.23.52 and Jake Rethman finished in second (8:31.78).

The Rockets will travel to Kent, Ohio to compete in the MAC Indoor Championships hosted by Kent State next Friday-Saturday Feb. 25-26.Â
