TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's track and field team will split off to compete at events at Grand Valley State and Tiffin this Friday and Saturday.

Grand Valley State University's Big Meet will be held as two separate events on Friday, Feb. 11 beginning at 9:00 a.m. and Saturday, Feb. 12 beginning at 10:00 a.m.

A group of four UToledo sprinters will compete at Tiffin's Reggie Thomas Collegiate Classic on Saturday. The meet is set to begin at noon.

Last Time Out
The Rockets last competed at the 18th Annual Akron Invitational from Feb. 4-5 in Akron, Ohio. In the 800m run, senior Samra Karaslan set a new personal best in the 800m run (2:13.68) to finish fourth, while sophomore Krystle Clark look second in the event (2:17.13).

Senior Madeline Barnes placed second in the pole vault when she reached 3.50m. In the high jump, sophomore Promise Cross placed third, she reached 1.65m.
